Pakistan being one of the leading milk producing country is far behind in the feed manufacturing with a total of 135 feed mills. There are many limiting factors including; lack of accurate breeds information and high-cost raw materials. The dairy feed manufacturer has no idea of target breed, requirements of animals, the target animals, stage of lactation or gestation and even lack of idea of target farms. The dairy farmer also has no option for feed formulated specifically for his dairy animals. Poultry feed manufacturing in Pakistan is more established for having been research studies, needs and targets. Breed, age and stage of production focused, feed formulation can result efficiently in dairy and meat sector sector. We are therefore focusing not only on quality feed manufacturing but also on the capacity of farmers on good livestock management practices and marketing. MEDVAC, serve as consultancy firm as well to share in the developmental sector and offer services in trainings, feasibility studies, project designing and budgeting, evaluation and research studies and inputs supplies. MEDVAC also arrange exposure visits inland and abroad to the agriculture and livestock professionals and farmers. Our future projects include the export of Halal Meat having traceability system.
